Join us in celebrating the majestic return of Pacific gray whales as they journey past Point Loma on their incredible annual migration from Alaska to Baja California. This year, we’re also honoring a remarkable milestone—the 75th anniversary of the very first public whale-watching event, which took place right here at Cabrillo National Monument.
🌊 Attend presentations by marine and conservation experts from WILDCOAST, American Cetacean Society of San Diego, NOAA Fisheries West Coast, Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, and Scripps Institute of Oceanography.

🐋 Spot whales at the Whale Overlook with the help of park volunteers and staff
