Scripps Institution of Oceanography and WILDCOAST need your help!
Scripps will conduct a study in Imperial Beach to better understand how pollution behaves in the surf zone. These results will help inform decision-making, coastal management and help protect public health. The study will use pink dye to mimic pollution and Scripps scientists need volunteers to help monitor their equipment.
So if you enjoy spending time at the beach and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take pictures of pink waves while helping produce super important scientific data, this is the opportunity for you!!
