WILDCOAST GOES KAABOO!

Kaaboo, a music festival that took place over the weekend of September 13-15, in Del Mar, California, featured recording artists such as Duran Duran, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Toots and the Maytals, Cheryl Crow, Snoop Dog as well as WILDCOAST!

The eclectic festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this year featured music, art, food, fashion and ocean protection.

The more than 120,000 Kaaboo attendees passed by the WILDCOAST booth at Kaaboo, where they could determine how to offset their carbon footprint, learn about watersheds and coastal pollution, and learn how to save sea turtles in the wild.

“Being at Kaaboo, and having so many opportunities to talk to so many people about WILDCOAST and the importance of protecting our ocean was an amazing opportunity,” said Conservation Communications Manager Angie Kemsley. “We are grateful to Kaaboo and Kilowatt Productions for the opportunity to share our mission to preserve our coast and ocean with the passionate music fans at Kaaboo.”

The WILDCOAST presence at Kaaboo included being part of the Land + Sea booth at the three day festival in order to highlight effective ways to preserve our terrestrial and coastal and marine resources.
